We are honored to host Tim Sheriff for a day of hands-on learning and tool talk at Meltdown Studio!
A renowned inventor, innovator, and metalsmith, Tim is the creator of studio staples such as the Swanstrom Disc Cutters and many of the pliers we can’t live without!
Create multiple projects as you learn Tim’s tricks of the trade and best practices for utilizing some of his best loved tools. Also, be the first to try out some of his newest inventions.
Students will have the opportunity to create multiple pieces throughout the class and to learn more about how these tools can augment the design and fabrication process.
Our Instructor Tim Sheriff’s lifelong interest in rocks, metal, and fabrication has led him through his illustrious 30+ year career as the inventor//designer for Swanstrom Jewelry Tools. Tim’s passion for teaching, his love of tools, and vast experience as an artist make his classes truly inspiring and illuminating.
