class cancellation Policy
If you have purchased a class and are unable to attend, the following policies are in place:
CLASS CANCELLATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED 7 days before the class DATE. a class credit will be issued for the amount of the class. this credit must be used within 6 months of issue date or is no longer valid.
cancellations received fewer than 7 days in advance will not be refunded or credited.
if a class is cancelled or rescheduled by meltdown studio, you will receive a full refund or class credit. this credit must be used within 6 months of issue date or is no longer valid.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS DUE TO serious MEDICAL OR FAMILY EMERGENCIES WILL BE CREDITED FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE CLASS. PLEASE NOTIFY MELTDOWN STUDIO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE before the start date//time of your class IF SUCH AN EMERGENCY ARISES.
If you do not attend your scheduled class and have not NOTIFIED us via email or phone call before the start date//time of your class ((due to a medical emergency or other cause)) the full cost of the class is forfeited.

Do I need previous experience to take your classes?
No! we have classes ranging in techniques, and many of them require no previous experience.
are materials provided for my class?
typically, all materials are provided for your class, with the exception of final projects, which will be designated in the class description. we have several local suppliers who stock all tools and materials necessary for the techniques we teach in our classes.
are there age requirements to take classes at meltdown studio?
We teach classes to all ages. Young students (ages 12 and under) must be accompanied by an adult.
how does studio access work?
after you have completed our Beginning Small Metals class (or the equivalent) you are welcome to apply for a bench rental or studio access so that you can enjoy full access to meltdown studio. please submit your application here.
