Meltdown Mini-series: Navette Necklace

  • Meltdown Studio 901 Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest Suite E-130 Albuquerque, NM, 87104 United States (map)

We’re excited to continue our springtime “Meltdown Mini-series” classes!

We offer this series of classes for you to enjoy a fun and exciting evening out this spring. Take advantage of some creative time to unwind and get ready for the weekend.

Navette is a French word that means "little boat", and in jewelry, it refers to a marquise-shaped cut or form—an elongated oval with pointed ends, resembling the shape of a small boat or an eye.

Learn to create your own sterling silver necklace featuring genuine turquoise or abalone shell, complete with sterling silver chains and clasps. Each pendant is accented with unique design details, and you’ll have the chance to make it truly yours by adding custom hand-stamping on the back.

Techniques we’ll cover:  bezel-making, soldering, oxidation, polishing, stone-setting

Materials we’ll use: sterling silver, turquoise, abalone shell

Before registering for class, please review our cancellation policy here.
