Intermediate Small Metals Class

  • Meltdown Studio 901 Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest Albuquerque, NM, 87104 United States (map)

Have you taken our beginning small metals class or fallen in love with the process of making jewelry? If so, this class is the perfect next step!

For students who learned the basics of jewelry-making (including techniques such as soldering, texture and surface manipulation, stone setting, cold connections, finishing work and findings), this class is the next step. In this class, students will learn hollow forms, soldered chains, prong and tube settings.

Through small projects, students will learn to incorporate these skills into designs which they create. Students will leave class with several completed projects including a final project. This piece will be designed throughout the course and fabricated from start to finish during the final class. The photos featured are from the last session of intermediate small metals. Spots are limited, so grab yours today!
