This past weekend at Meltdown Studio, we turned up the torches and got down to serious ring-making magic in our Make it at Meltdown: Arroyo Ring Class — and wow, what a vibe!

Students came ready to learn, laugh, and leave with something stunning — and they absolutely delivered. From total beginners to seasoned creatives, everyone got hands-on with the tools of the trade, soldering sterling silver bands and setting sparkly gemstones that shimmered as much as the smiles in the studio.

Each ring was totally unique, reflecting the personality and style of its maker and every piece had that handcrafted, head-turning quality that makes people ask, “Where’d you get that?”

More than just learning new skills, the real magic was in the community: strangers becoming friends over shared challenges (looking at you, soldering station), spontaneous high-fives, and the collective "oohs" and "ahhs" as each finished ring came together.

We love watching people surprise themselves — discovering just how creative, capable, and crafty they really are. And this class was full of those lightbulb moments.
